I’m so excited to share that my short comic “The Price of Perfection” is featured in KOGUCHI Magazine #2: NEO-FUTURE — a limited-run black-and-white anthology dedicated to exploring Cyberpunk worlds and ideas of what’s to come. “The Price of Perfection” is my reflection on beauty, desire, and self-erasure in a world where identity is endlessly customisable and nothing feels permanent. Set in a gleaming cyberpunk city, the story unravels the tension between transformation and consumption — how the pursuit of perfection can feel both empowering and suffocating. I wanted to capture that moment when beauty tips into obsession, when admiration turns to hunger, and when what we create to enhance ourselves begins to consume us instead. Beneath the shine, it’s about the quiet horror of losing your sense of self in the glow of what you think you should be.
